Signal Action is a Signal Creation Action, Signal EE Action, Signal Instance Set Action or Signal Assigner Action

In the Shlaer-Mellor Method, aka 'Executable UML', as defined in [MB], these are the only allowable destinations of a Signal.

While each kind of Signal Action generates a Signal (or Signals) corresponding to an Event Specification with an optional Delivery Time, they vary based on the nature of the destination. We specialize by destination since both the signaling behavior and especially the information requirements vary in each case.
