If you would like metadata such as author, title, version and so forth displayed as a frame around your diagram, supply these two optional keywords. You must either include both of them or neither since they work as a pair.

Syntax

frame <frame_name>
frame_presentation <frame_presentation_name>

frame TRI MBSE // We use this one at TRI
frame_presentation default  // Your only choice for now

Function

A frame is a set of metadata fields positioned and sized for a given sheet size. So the sheet size you specify influences how the frame field positions are scaled. A frame may also include a title block which borders a set of boxed fields. This too is scaled to fit your sheet size.

Current support

At present you only have two choices of frame, TRI MBSE and OS Engineer (open source engineer).

User extensions

Users will be able to edit YAML templates to define their own frames and frame presentations.
