Stem Notation specifies graphical presentation with zero or one Icon Placement

Icon Placement graphical presentation is specified by exactly one Stem Notation

If a Stem Notation is graphical, defined by an icon in other words, it must define where on the Stem Position the icon is placed.

For example, the class face Stem Position defining Starr notation on a class diagram is a Stem Notation that places some kind of arrow icon, depending on the associated Stem Semantic (1 mult, Mc mult, etc) at the root (node face) end of the Stem Position.

An Icon Placement is defined for a specific Stem Notation.
