Following the feedback from the first playtest, I made the map a little larger, added another level for players to use, and tried to fill in some of the long sightlines that were present in the first greybox.

For this second iteration, I also added some health, ammo, and armor boxes around the level. I threw in a grenade launcher in the middle of the arena.

Center Wall

image I wanted to open up the space a bit more, and not split off both sides of the map so completely by this wall. Originally, the walls of the first greybox contained an above-ground canal, but that was lowered to become ground level. Because of that, I was able to lower the wall down so it wasn't as tall. Additionally, I moved the staircases closer to the bridge so that the area underneath them went from a plus shape to a simple straight line.

Outer Wall

image In this shot, which was originally just an empty space and a big sightline, became a grand staircase up to the newly created balcony that oversees the map. The player can go underneath the balcony into a new hallway area to get away from the long sightlines of the main room. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the level was actually expanded to add in these areas.

Side Wall

image The raised area from before, which used to just feed back into the lower level, now feeds into the new upper balcony I added. The split in the balcony is to make sure that the sightline going from one side to the next isn't as long. I also added some arches for some flair, and to make it a little harder for players on different levels to fire at each other.
