This is the most notable Dwarven faction. The Heart of copper is much less notable, and they mostly follow the lead of the Heart of Gold. To ensure harmony between the Hearts, ambassadors are chosen from each group to become equal members in the other, and are properly said to be of the "Heart of Copper and Gold."

Despite the difference in broader notoriety, Dwarves from the two Hearts appear to enjoy comparable prestige. Perhaps as a result, most Dwarves from the Heart of Copper will describe themselves to outsiders as from Heart of Gold, and only if pressed, explain that they are actually from the Heart of Copper, which is right next to the Heart of Gold, but I usually just say Heart of Gold because no one out here has heard of the Heart of Copper and I didn't want to get into all that.
