Lease implies that an item can have a restricted access at the time of ingest, and after a specified date, the access is open to either institution group or public. Our use case of DSpace does not uses Lease as it is used in Hydra but it might be useful to use it as Hydra use case. So far we have implemented the following:

The Superuser can view and add lease. The app supports this feature

The Collection manager can view and add lease for all the collection he/she owns. (Is not supported yet)

The Collection depositor can view and add lease for all the collection he/she deposited to. (Is not supported yet)
