Welcome to the HydraPrototype wiki!

Vision: To create a ‘Hydra Head’, Fedora-backed digital repository as a prototype. The application will be using the gems that are already released and will include development on gems that are in projecthydra-labs.

Scope: The application will be implemented with the help of Hydra gems like Hydra, Hydra-Works, Hydra-PCDM, Spotlight, and/or Curation Concerns. Faceted search will be provided using Blacklight.

This activity is not meant to be a starting point for any of the proposed Hydra heads. Rather, it is meant to allow programmers the opportunity to explore the technology we will be using and familiarize ourselves with Hydra development. Questions that arise during this process may be explored in further prototyping activities.
