K-9 Mail runs on Android 2.1 and newer versions.

The easiest way to install the production version is from the Android Apps on Google Play located at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fsck.k9

If your device does not support this, the apk can be downloaded from http://code.google.com/p/k9mail/downloads/list.
