Setting up and connecting to Glitchy
Welcome!
Thank you for your support and welcome to Glitchy!
Getting Connected
- Place the SD card in the SD card holder if it isn't already
- Power the Glitchy though the micro-USB cable
- By default the board will host it's own wifi server with an SSID of "ESP32-Access-Point" and a password of "123456789" (without quotes).
- Note: If you don't see the wifi pop up after plugging it in or you have trouble connecting, press the reset button. Sometimes it doesn't get a clean boot from the power cable. Working on that.
- Open a browser and browse to the default IP of 192.168.4.1
- You should now see the main welcome screen!
- Head on over to one of the two lessons, First Power Glitching Attack, or First Power Analysis Attack.
Troubleshooting
- There is a known bug at the time of this writing where sometimes the website hangs loading. This seems to happen more in Firefox. If the page doesn't want to load. Close the tab, press the rest button on the board, reconnect to the wifi and try again. It's much improved from where it used to be, but still pops up now and then. It may be related to SD card quality and timeouts accessing the files. Currently working on this.
