Status messages are messages that are sent into the chat to inform the player of changes within the world, boss actions, or mode activation.

Message	Trigger	Effect
"The Kirin's aura has enriched your world."	The Kirin arrives.	Hardmode plants will start spawning.
"The Kirin's aura stopped enriching your world..."	The Kirin dies on Permadeath mode.	Hardmode plants will stop spawning.
"Rin Satsuki the Kirin has teleported away!"	The Kirin dies while Permadeath mode is off.	Hardmode plants spawn half as often.
"<Player name> rotted.""<Player name> 's soul disintegrated.""<Player name> had their lifeforce drained."	Killed by Decay.	N/A
