Gameplay Options
Main options like Souls Like Gameplay, Manual Save, Prohibitions, and so on.
Souls Like Gameplay
This is one of the pillars of the modpack. The idea is to introduce mechanics to make the game feel more like a souls-bourne, and be more challenging than regular Breath of the Wild.
- Skill System
Hero's Fury Options - by default Hero's Fury will use a Timer that will gradually upgrade following Calamity Level, but you can also choose to make Hero's Fury use 1 Rupee each second.
Once you reach Sheikah Skill Level 1, you can select which kind of Bombs you want to equiq depending on your needs, you can choose Regular Bombs or Upgraded Fire Bombs. (When you are in the Volcano area, Fire Bombs will be auto disabled).
The Skill System makes Enemies have a chance to drop Souls. These Souls increase your your abilities and strength of your weapons. For more information about the Skill Souls System, click here. There is a warning about disabling it. Enable (DEFAULT)
- Manual Save
Disable Manual Save means the game can only be saved at Campfires, Inns, and Sleeping in beds. Autosave will be made in Dungeons and Divine Beasts. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Prohibitions
Selected Prohibitions will be disabled while Fighting, Diving, or Falling.
- Eating Disable Eating means you cannot Eat while you are Fighting, Swimming, Diving, or Falling. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Warping Disable Warping means you cannot Fast Travel while you are Fighting, Swimming, Diving, or Falling. Batteries will still spawn though. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Enter Shrines Disable Enter Shrines means you cannot enter shrines or activate panels while you are Fighting, Swimming, Diving, or Falling. Realistically, it's just to prevent you from running away from a battle outside of a shrine. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Change Equip Disable Change Equip means you cannot change armor while you are Fighting, Swimming, Diving, or Falling. This prevents you from changing bows and weapons while in the inventory screen, but you can still switch weapons using the D-Pad. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Hero's Souls (Champion Abilities) This prohibition is different from the rest. Disable Hero's Souls means you cannot use Champions Abilities while in Divine Beasts or Hyrule Castle. You can still use your abilities during the rest of the game. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Open Chests Prohibition You're not gonna be able to open Chests when you are in battle or enemies are around. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Punitive Death
Punitive Death means that all monsters respawn on death. You lose all Souls, Chest Keys, Shiekah Batteries, and all rupees (optional). Having Red Stars will prevent you from losing Souls, Punitive Death wil take 1 to 3 Red Stars (depending on the Calamity Level) instead of your Souls. You respawn at the nearest checkpoint. This is the ultimate Souls mechanic. You can select what kind of indicator is shown, Death Counter or Health. You also have an option to don't lose rupees on death.
- Punitive Blood Moon
This works similarly to how Punitive Death works, but it's not as harsh. Every time a Blood Moon occurs, you'll lose all Souls, Chest Keys, and Sheikah Batteries. However, you do not lose your rupees. Having Red Stars will prevent you from losing Souls, Punitive Moon wil take 1 to 3 Red Stars (depending on the Calamity Level) instead of your Souls. Enemies still respawn as normal. Of course those penalities won't apply during Panic Moons. Enable (DEFAULT)
-
Others Contains the 3 following options
-
Heart Recovery
Disabling means you won't recover health after completing shrines or sleeping in beds. Disable (DEFAULT)
- Wallets
Activate Scaling Wallets System (Disabled by default to prevent losing Rupees, so you need to manually enable it).
- Quivers
Activate Scaling Quivers System (Disabled by default to prevent losing Arrows, so you need to manually enable it).
Miscellaneous
This is the category with other options and mechanics in the mod, that don't quite fall under "souls-bourne" mechanics.
- Chests System
Chests contents can now be randomly generated. As you complete more Divine Beasts, your rewards get better. There's a new Locked Chest mechanic. Chests now require a key to unlock them. Without a key, a chest cannot be unlocked. Chest Keys can be found inside barrels, boxes, and by killing some enemies. You can carry a maximum of 10 keys. Chests that contain required content, like keys, have not been changed. Along with that, the Second Wind Compatibility option adds in support for those chests added in the mod. Champion Weapon chests have also been protected, along with the chests in the Shrine of Resurrection. When playing with Relics, 'Random Locked Chests' and 'Random Chests' won't be selectable. When selecting 'Random Locked Chests' or 'Random Chests', you can choose to use 'Gamble Chests' (On by default). Gamble Chests is a new optional chests system where basically chests have the chance to give you from 1 to 3 random items but there is a 12,5% probability that the chest gonna be empty! There are not gonna be any empty chests inside Shrines and Divine Beasts.

- Warping System
Fast Travel is a very powerful tool within the world of Breath of the Wild. However, the system is antithetical to a Souls Like experience, so restrictions have been put on Fast Travel. Sheikah Batteries are now required to Fast Travel. You can find batteries from destroying Guardians. You can carry a maximum of 5 batteries. Enable (DEFAULT)

You can choose how many Spirit Orbs will be required to upgrade your Hearts and Stamina.

- Easy Hestu Upgrades (DEFAULT) - the first upgrade will cost 5 korok seeds, then 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
- Normal Hestu Upgrades - the first upgrade wil cost 10 korok seeds, then 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35.
