Welcome to the FT950rc wiki!

This program was developed to control my Yaesu FT-950 and additional to listen to hf and 6m beacons. First it was developed under Linux/Debian with Python3 and pyQT5. It works on Windows too. It was my first in Python written program and belive me in addition with QT5 I had a lot to learn. It is not finished, but I hope someone will be able to use as a base for his own ideas or help to develop it further.

Functions implemented:

Bidirectional data exchange by use of a thread with TRX:

• frequency
• mode
• filter
• rf-power
• af-gain

Setting of:

• attenuator
• IPO

Import of beacon data from "G3USF's Worldwide List of 50MHz Beacons" and "G3USF's Worldwide List of HF Beacons". This data is stored in a sqlite database and can be:

• selected by band
• filtered by european locations
• sorted by call or frequency
