Through the guidance of the founders, Apollo and Artemis, the Cosmosphere Academy strives to unlock the secrets of the universe. The fundamentals of the Art was spurred by the discovery of Cosmic Energy and its absorption into special elements, known as conduits. The properties and effects of the absorbed energy vary depending on the element that absorbs it.

Wild Magic (Tier 0)

"Wild and untamed energies, chaotic and unpredictable"

Inner Layer (Tier 1)

Incendite

"Emblazoned by potency, waiting to watch the world burn"

Radiant (+)

  • While radiant, your weapons and Incendite constructs apply Burning to enemies

Base duration: 5 seconds

Burning (-)

  • While Burning, you take moderate damage over time

Base duration: 5 seconds

Base damage per tick: 5 damage

Is Blockable by shields

Combust (-)

  • Cause enemies to explode and apply Burning to nearby enemies
  • Enemies who are already Burning take additional damage

Damage: 20 damage

Additional damage: 10 damage


Kinetite

"Sparks crackle in enclosed fists, tendrils seeking victims"

Amped (+)

  • While Amped, you gain 20% bonus movement speed
  • Your next Unarmed strike while Amped inflicts a target with Shocked

Base duration: 10

Shocked (-)

  • When Shocked, you take a burst of damage which chains to nearby units

Base damage: 10 damage

Base chain range: 20 studs

Base max chaining: 4

Is Blockable by shields


Tethys

"Life and death, two sides of the same coin"

Blessed (+)

  • While Blessed, you regenerate health over time
  • Upon initial cast, you are cleansed of all negative status effects

Base duration: 5 seconds

Base heal per tick: 5 health

Withered (-)

  • While Withered, you are Slowed and take damage over time
  • You also take 20% additional physical damage

Base duration: 5 seconds

Base damage per tick: 5 damage

Slow percentage: 20%

Is NOT Blockable by shields

Outer Layer (Tier 2)

The Outer Layer consists of compounds, combining the elements of the Inner Layer to create unique and more powerful effects.

Plasma

"All encompass the Field, all energy is yours to take"

Magnetized (+)

  • While Magnetized, you gain 50% elemental damage resistance

Base duration: 3 seconds

Shielded (+)

  • Gain a plasma shield that absorbs damage
  • Shield health is indicated with an overlay on your health bar

Leeched (-)

  • While Leeched, targets take ‘20%’ additional elemental damage
  • 50% of elemental damage done to Leeched targets are given to the caster as Shields

Base duration: 5 seconds


Maelstrom

"The immovable storm approaches, and it is you"

Gelid (+)

  • While Gelid, you gain 30% Physical damage reduction and occasionally inflict Shocked to nearby units
  • Performing a Jab while Gelid, inflicts a target with Spired

Base duration: 5 seconds

Spired (-)

  • While Spired, you are frozen in place and are occasionally inflicted Shocked

Base duration: 2 seconds


Baros

"The air hides its dark secret, lurking in the shadows"

Invisible (+)

  • While Invisible, you gain 20% bonus movement speed
  • Performing an action breaks the Invisibility

Base duration: 5 seconds

Shrouded (-)

  • While Shrouded, you are briefly blinded and slowed for 20%

Base duration: 3 seconds

Vision range while blinded: 5 studs
