Packet Tracer LAB 4‐2 - michael-D-S/NET-150 GitHub Wiki
Michael Sargent 2/7/24 NET-150 Tech Journal:
- In this lab I set up and configured address and gateways from three computers and then followed the path of a packet sent from one computer to another through a managed switch.
- You can set the gateway address in Packet Tracer by going to the config tab in the computer and going to settings and then inputting the address of the gateway into the appropriate field.
- You go to the settings and configure the ethernets in each different port and set the subnet mask to be the same if you want all the device to communicate and then set each IP address to the particular device.
- You do that by clicking the Simulation button in the bottom right hand corner.
- You go and click the "Show All/None" button then the "Edit Filters" button and select which type you wish to filter.
