Welcome to the JEI developer wiki!

This wiki gives a high-level view of JEI and what it takes to integrate your mod with it. The wiki has legacy 1.12.2 docs, Minecraft 1.16.5, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, and 1.20.1 docs, and version-scoped pages for newer Minecraft versions. Reference this wiki for overall direction, and use the Javadocs in the API for exact method signatures and version-specific details.

• To begin your project, see the section for

  • Getting Started 1.12.2 for Forge or
  • Getting Started 1.16.5 for Forge or
  • Getting Started 1.18.2, 1.19.2, and 1.20.1 for Forge or Fabric
  • Getting Started 1.21 and 1.21.1 for NeoForge, Forge, or Fabric
  • Getting Started Minecraft 1.21.11
  • Getting Started Minecraft 26.1.2 and 26.2

• Once you've done that,

  • create your plugin 1.12.2 or
  • create your plugin for Minecraft 1.16.5, 1.18.2, 1.19.2, and 1.20.1
  • create your plugin for Minecraft 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, and 26.2
