Combining AME with Creosynth - mewostick/Creosynth GitHub Wiki
If you feel like applying Creosynth optimisations into another playbook (in this example AME), here is how it is possible.
Of course, you will not receive support from either sides.
Use the playbook source from the "advanced" branch
This branch has full control over every task that could be run. It is quite necessary to prevent a conflict with AME.
- Create a playbook file from source or download it from the releases page (will be available in the next 0.7 release).
- Ameliorate your system
- After amelioration, go into amecs.exe (search in the start menu) and disable 'Enhanced Security' (necessary for the ZwTimerResolution task to work..).
- Open AME Wizard and enter the Creosynth advanced playbook.
- In Custom Features (Necessary features page), de-select everything except for:
- Installing all VCRuntimes
- Applying QoL changes
- Optimising Windows
- In the next custom features pages:
- De-select everything in the "What would you like to remove/disable?" page
- Keep Microsoft Edge as is
- The rest of the custom features are your own choice!
- Run the playbook.
This will apply Creosynth optimisations into AME. Will satisfy those seeking for complete privacy but also improved performance.
