These changes are mostly about METS 1 references
On the Schema Endorsement page will be a note that this is for historical reasons and there will be no new schema endorsements for METS 2.
Sometimes "METS 1"/"METS 2" is used and sometimes "METS version 1"/"METS version 2". Both are interchangeable, but "version" should be consistently spelled (lower case).
iPRES 2025 submission
The deadline for Birds of a Feather submissions will be end of July. The call is not out yet and will be in (end of) June.
A Birds of a Feather session will be usually an hour long and a discussion with the participants. A short introduction to the topic might be possible.
Karin prepared a draft that could be used when the call will be out.
The Birds of a Feather session will not be hybrid. Karin will be in New Zealand and Juha might be. Probably no other board members could be there.
METS-schema and METS-guide issues and pull requests
Aaron will rename the repository from METS-primer to METS-guide
Proofreading is finished/closed
There is a new issue for a missing example in StructSec
Improvement of the stream example would be nice
For the addition of more practical examples we could ask users (maybe at the iPRES)
