We expect the white paper to be ready during the year, so a presentation on METS2 would be appropriate. A full paper might be too much, but a short paper (GoogleDocs template) seems good.
White paper
It is important to be clear about the goal and intention, references to earlier reasons for features are given. Version 1.x will be around, and is regarded as stable and well-established. Version 2 is intended to make entry hurdles lower, get rid of deprecated and unused features.
Some sections have been worked on and reviewed, others like hard-coded lists/vocabularies and on general metadata need work.
We would want specific examples with each description of changes, rather than an overall example containing all collected changes at the end.
We'll meet in-between regular board meetings on the 8th of February, 6pm CET, to finalize the white paper and discuss the iPres submission.
