Recommended parts list is available for download. However, this is not exhaustive list, and does not cover all available options and modifications, because the project is actively evolving.

Selecting acquisition workstation

Some older workstations cannot handle the Benchtop mesoSPIM data acquisition fast enough, due to increase in image size compared to the old mesoSPIM (from 4 to 10-15 GB per image). Below is a list of CPUs that were confirmed to work well under the mesoSPIM load, along with the cameras used. Each system has 128 GB (DDR4 RAM) and Windows 10/11 OS.
