This page covers the differences of each Proteus version, which can be found by looking at the serial number of your device. For example, "MSPR-ACN120" means:

  • MS: Mercadian Systems
  • PR: Proteus
  • AC: Active-cooled case
  • N: No Wi-Fi (W = with Wi-Fi)
  • 120: Unit v1.2.0

v1.2.1

  • Started using GPIO and Indicator boards manufactured by a different supplier.

v1.2.0

  • Added the GPIO board, which provides access to the UART debug terminal via USB micro and connects to the front panel with an off-the-shelf cable for faster assembly.

  • Updated the OS image to v1.2.1

v1.1.1

  • Started shipping Proteus image v1.2.0, which includes an 8 GB SWAP partition to support client combinations that require more than 16 GB of RAM.

v1.1.0

  • New case design: stronger mounting pegs, thicker port frames in the back, and a detachable slot under the SSD for easy access.

v1.0.1

  • Added a screw on the back of the SSD stand (visible on the top of the Rock), as it was becoming dislodged for some users during shipping.
