The Melbis Shop 6 program complex consists of two parts: a client application and server scripts. The following conditions are required for their correct operation.

Client application

  • OS: Windows 10/11 (32/64-bit)
  • Processor: x86/x64 with SSE3 support (practically any processor since 2005)
  • RAM: 4 GB or more recommended
  • Minimum resolution: 1366x768
  • Minimum hard disk space: 500 MB (700 MB with developer components), excluding store data; SSD recommended
  • NTFS file system
  • Unhindered operation of the FireBird Embedded DBMS
  • Internet connection: no worse than 200kbps modem connection

Server part

  • OS: Windows Server, Linux, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, FreeBSD (or Docker environment)
  • Processor: x86-64 (the Docker image is built for x86-64 only)
  • Minimum hard disk space: 20 MB (excluding store data), SSD is recommended for confident operation of the caching system.
  • Web Server: Apache 2.4 with the ability to specify settings via .htaccess and the presence of mod_rewrite, mod_headers, and mod_expires modules (Nginx may run in front of it as a proxy).
  • Installed PHP 8.3 interpreter with additional modules: ioncube, curl, gd (with FreeType, JPEG and WebP support), iconv, intl, mbstring, mysqli, sodium, xml, zip, apcu; opcache is recommended.
  • MySQL 8.4 DBMS
  • Ability to set the necessary rights for php-scripts, providing the creation and deletion of other files and directories of any nesting.
  • Ability to upload files to the server through php-scripts.
  • Additional recommendations when choosing hosting: ability to install and run cron scripts.
