For the moment, this is a gathering place for any documentation about the Xiegu GSOC and the associated firmware; rumored to be officially open sourced at some point.
If you are only interested in general discussion about GSOC (and other Xeigu products) your best bet is to join the moderated XieguG90 discussion group.
If you are interested in helping out with the technical discussion here, you can easily do so with your own a GSOC device. You do not need to crack open the case to be of assistance! Click on the 'Issues' link above to see what we're thinking about. Anything tagged "no screwdriver needed" may be a good place to start.
Specific requests for documentation include:
- Pictures of the initial boot screen to help determine the extent of variation across shipped hardware
- Specific hardware specifications
- Firmware update instructions on various platforms
- Connection instructions for basic operations and digital modes
