cp /home/desktop
tar -xzvf VMWareTools*.tar.gz
cd vmware-tools-distrib
sudo ./vmware-install.pl
Accept all defaults for installation
Accessing your installation over SSH
- Ensure
openssh-serverin installed in the guest OS - Ensure that you are using a Network Adapter type of Bridged or local only. This is possibly for NAT types, but I do not know currently how to arrange this.
