Welcome to the ANSERIS-I Launch Day wiki!

Night before launch

  1. Charge battery (!)
  2. Stress test everything
  3. Fill gas in cars
  4. Pack car and cooler

Bring to launch

  1. Mini screw driver for headers
  2. Extra wires, soldering iron, tools, multimeter, some parts

How to set-up box prior to launch

  1. Place Raspberry Pi camera into hole at the bottom of the box. Screw the camera board into the styrofoam.
  2. Connect charger to Raspberry Pi by USB. Tape it down.
  3. Boot Raspberry Pi first (ssh into Pi). Tape it down to styrofoam.
  4. Put camera in hole at the side of the box. Pointy side to flat side of case for both batteries.
  5. Put (green/orange) batteries in the main board. Make sure they are connected properly.
  6. Put main board (with antenna attached) and make sure the batteries are facing down. The USB must be detached.
  7. Attach USB to camera. Camera light should be green.
  8. Screw in the camera to the main board.
  9. Plug in payload connection from main board to mini power board. Order of wires: green, yellow, orange.
  10. Plug in GPS to main board and tape it to the side.
