Night before launch
- Charge battery (!)
- Stress test everything
- Fill gas in cars
- Pack car and cooler
Bring to launch
- Mini screw driver for headers
- Extra wires, soldering iron, tools, multimeter, some parts
How to set-up box prior to launch
- Place Raspberry Pi camera into hole at the bottom of the box. Screw the camera board into the styrofoam.
- Connect charger to Raspberry Pi by USB. Tape it down.
- Boot Raspberry Pi first (ssh into Pi). Tape it down to styrofoam.
- Put camera in hole at the side of the box. Pointy side to flat side of case for both batteries.
- Put (green/orange) batteries in the main board. Make sure they are connected properly.
- Put main board (with antenna attached) and make sure the batteries are facing down. The USB must be detached.
- Attach USB to camera. Camera light should be green.
- Screw in the camera to the main board.
- Plug in payload connection from main board to mini power board. Order of wires: green, yellow, orange.
- Plug in GPS to main board and tape it to the side.
