Savrine Nalbina grew up in a standard tradesman life, father a tradesman, mother gained additional income through selling at market, but as Savrine grew older, she realized she had a special bloodline that gave her access to unusual abilities, and magic. After several accidents, involving near deaths of friends and family, and the death of another teen, Savrine left the village feeling outcast and exiled. Drifting aimelessly Savrine honed her skills and after a chance encounter fell into serving a local church but, not exactly the normal: sure there was cleaning the floors, fetching and lighting cnadles and so on, but also hunting local monsters, enacting church-sanctioned justice upon evil-doers the guards were unable or unwilling to pursue, and in general acting as a rightous enforcer for the church. Never entirely mind if the church was always in the right. She worked with, at the time a Priest, but now known as Bishop Lucian (Lu-chan). Bishop Lucian brought Savrine as he rose up the ranks and that resulted in a cushy midlevel church appointment, until less than a year ago, Savrine was brought inside to a group of high level church officials that are working to increase the physical abilities and in some words, give the essence of divinity to the King.
