Evritt Greymane was a rookie officer in the Eberron city guard tasked with following the exploits of the Boromar Clan, a subsidiary clan of The Sixty: an alliance of the most powerful crime families in Eberron. Despite having his own doubts concerning pursuing such an influential organization, his zeal as an officer of the law, no matter how little sway that held in Eberron, convinced him to stay his course. That zeal, however, would become his undoing. As his investigations continued, the Boromar Clan had become aware of his presence and decided to take action.
The "disappearance" of his wife and daughter was an event that shaped Evritt's outlook on life moving forward. The message sent by the Boromar Clan had devastated him, but not discouraged him. He became invested in toppling Eberron's crime empire to the point of obsession, eventually being cast out of the city guard for failing to comply with the guard's regulations. In his obsession, he had discovered just how far the influence of The Sixty stretched, and Eberron was just the start of it. Over the next twenty years, his dogged hunt for information concerning The Sixty had led him to eventually come to Brouwer. His hunt for The Sixty is motivated by many factors. Delivering the justice he was once meant to uphold and avenging the family life that was stolen from him for sure, but most importantly, after these past decades, it's about finally being able to put this all to rest.
