By default, after installation, PimaxXR becomes your OpenXR runtime. If for some reason, it no longer is (eg: you set SteamVR back as your current OpenXR runtime), you may restore PimaxXR as your runtime.

Preferred method

  1. Open the PimaxXR Control Center (shortcut is on the Desktop and Start Menu)
  2. Select PimaxXR as your runtime

Manual method

  1. Open regedit
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1
  3. Modify ActiveRuntime to point to C:\Program Files\PimaxXR\pimax-openxr.json
