Coordination of the test environment includes following:

• Configuration of database structures and setting of parameters, which can only be set during the database application's runtime
• Observation of the database cluster's status
• Distribution of static (workload class) and dynamic (host list) test parameters to distributed test nodes
• Starting/stopping of test on distributed test nodes
• Control of test phases during database cluster scaling tests
• Retrieving of test results from the distributed test nodes
