What is Transupposer?

Transupposer is a program I created to transpose any midi file to and from any of the 7 Modern modes

What is the point?

I struggle with transposing and especially modal transposing, but love how the sound of a modal scale can change the feel of a section of music. Transupposer can transpose a piece in any mode almost instantly. You can use it to transpose a whole piece or to make a new file you can copy small sections from using software like Muse Score.

What if my piece has several keys?

Currently the program does no checks for keys so assumes the whole piece is in the root key you supply. If your piece has a transposition mid-piece then Transupposer will just treat this as a transposition by the same interval from the key you select as your output root.
