students to be able to make copies of workspaces use cases:

  • students in class in groups of 3 or 4 working on a particular workspace. One computer per pair, two computers per group.

Use Case 1 - Teacher creating a on a problem and set of students. N copies of the workspace for the pairs of students. one pair looking at n students. Noticing and wondering first, then categorize them. many pairs working on same set of student work. Other people in class would be able to view the other workspaces. avoiding permission issues, teacher to view, toggle the ability for other students to be able to see others workspaces (or till after posting).

  • frequency of comment use at top of page.

  • Nice to have, create a folder of all of the comments of a frequently use comment.

  • sharing set of folders, allowing other students be able to be viewers.

  • create a group of users on a workspace.

  • create a heat map of all workspaces in class assignment (for an assignment)

Use Case 2 - Online and async or in-person. Class does submission the same problem. Work is submitted, and a workspaces are created from all of the work and each students is assigned to their workspace. Could there be a way to assign which students should be comment on.

  • processing noticing and wondering into responses to separate noticing and wondering from feedback. selectively choose noticing and wondering for feedback, or invite in to see

  • Students should be able to be turned on to (view workspace for just themselves, view workspace for all, markup workspace for all, send feedback on workspace for all?).

Use Case 3 - Public workspaces available to non-users as view only, for sharable to public. Sandbox. Possibly pass username and password, or have anonymous user available. Have a username and password for read only access to workspace.

Use Case 4 - Scaffolding of the Notice and Wondering. Wonder about strategy. ???

  • Need preset folders to help focus
  • turn on or off ability to add new folders.
  • add sample selections in folders
  • students to be able to view read only the teachers demo workspace
  • Teacher should be able to see all of their students work.
  • students ability to do submissions without assignment ???
  • teacher feedback with supervisor control (direct send toggle) (authorization queue).
  • teacher giving feedback on feedback
  • student giving feedback to teacher.
