BIT_FED run or BIT_FED simulation: complete simulation using the BIT_FEd method, since its beginning from a set of random configurations to its automatic ending.

Swarm: each of the short individual NAMD runs.

Epoch: set of trajectories launched at the same time.

Starting configuration: snapshot registered in a certain epoch to be replicated and re-launched in the next one.
