The Information Technology Council is organized into distinct roles so that each member of the team knows what their responsibilities are. This is loosely based off of the official document.

Mentors

CIO

Chief Information Officer

• Member of the Student Government Association
• Chairs council meetings
• Makes most important decisions
• Meets with important IT people at Marist.

Deputy Chief Information Officer

• Assists CIO in operations

Web Technologies

Lead Developer

• In charge of everything web
• Manages gap between designers and developers
• Assigns and creates issues for current sprint.
• Drafts agendas for council meetings
• Reviews and merges pull requests

Developers

• Work directly on the website
• Document using comments thoroughly

DevOps Lead

• Manages the database and Servers
• Works with developers to store information
• Controls server access

Web Designers

• Advise developers on design practices
• Provide wireframes, mockups and CSS styles for the website

QA Tester

Quality Assurance Tester

• Tries to break the website
• Drafts bug reports for developers to fix
• Provides user feedback on user experience
