Inspire Standard
Inspire is an ISO to catalogue geographical file metadata. An example is available here.
Following this ISO, we would like to provide the user the following metadata:
General Requirements
Information | Description | Notes |

File identifier | An ID for each RINEX file uploaded | To define the general rule of encoding to use. |
Metadata language | The language used in the RINEX file | We have to use the code related to language encoding iso639-2 |
Point of contact | The main information about the user that uploaded the observation | Organization, E-mail, Role, ... |
Date of the recording | Date referred to the beginning of the recording | It can include both timestamp and timezone |
Identification Info
Information | Description | Notes |

Resource Title | A brief string that summarize the content of the file | It has to be written in the metadata language e.g. "Land Use map of MyCountry" |
Resource Abstract | Non-empty brief narrative summary of the content of the resource | |
Temporal references | Information related to the upload, that include the date of publication, date of last revision, date of creation | To perform with code related to date encoding ’iso19139 |
Keywords for the resource | A set of words that can help the user to find the relevant measurements for himself. | |
Geographic bounding box | A set of coordinates that defines the area in which the recording was performed. | |
Validation | A flag that helps the user to understand whether the recording has been checked and approved by a domain expert. | This box contains also information about the expert user and when he validated the observation. |
