Caution
The R36S has 2 microSD card slots. Users can choose between a 1 card and a 2 card setup (explained in the guides).

TF1 = OS Card Slot (right)

TF2 = Roms Card Slot (left)
Note
Any SD card should work in TF1 slot.
Warning
Not every card will work in the TF2 slot, please refer to the following spreadsheet.

If the OS somehow gets corrupted or defect or if you break something while tinkering, it's easier to replace/re-flashing the cfw. No need to re-copy all the roms/scraped images.

Your saves/retroarch configs are stored on the roms card. They are safe there in case a update goes wrong or the OS card fails.

You can easily swap between cards, if you have more than more than one rom/OS card.

You can swap rom cards between devices that have different display panels.

Old list from a different handheld, but R36S has the same specs as the RG351. Firmware updates may have improved compatibility with different games.
