This wiki describes the Meta Attack Language (MAL), its syntax and semantics. Despite being a formal description of MAL, it is the official description. It is aligned with the formal description found in this previously published paper, but since the paper does not cover the full range of MAL constituents that has evolved over time, this wiki aims to be the complete description. The wiki also presents some examples to help explain MAL as well as some good practice for creating domain specific languages (DSL) in MAL.

The tooling around MAL is described in the separate wikis of the MAL toolbox and the MAL simulator.
