Level 30+

Maps are one of the main stays of [Dissonance]. You unlock the Map Device once you've kill the Ender Dragon. They contain instanced dungeons that can be explored solo, or in a party, and can be run from level 30 all the way to 99. Maps roll random affixes that can improve experience and loot, at the cost of difficulty! Each map instance is associated with a level - mobs in the map will all be of that same level.

Tiers

Maps are also tiered - higher tier maps are more difficult, but provide better experience and loot. Some uniques will only drop after a certain tier. Looking for a Headhunter? You'll find it in Tier 5 maps.

How To Get There

To use a map, you must first have a Map Device. The Map Device will need at least 2500 fuel. You can burn ores or vanilla ingots to add fuel to the map device by accessing the Map Device and inputting the fuel. Right click the device with the map that you want to explore and 4 portals will appear. You will need an open, flat space for all of the portals to appear. Be sure that your area is clear of grass and snow, too!
