Is there a list of known issues?
The modpack isn't installing properly, it's missing mod(s) when using the CurseForge App.
Honestly, just use GDLauncher or MultiMC and save yourself the headache. Check the installation page for details on how to set it up. Otherwise, if you're really set on CurseForge then reinstall the pack and try again.
Can I play this pack on LAN?
No, it won't work very well and will probably crash.
Why does my game stutter? I've already allocated lots of RAM!
Check this page and add the custom Java arguments. They will reduce and in almost all cases, get rid of the stuttering. Also, be wary of adding too much RAM. Because of how Java's garbage collector works, adding more RAM can actually inhibit your performance.
Why do I keep getting "incomplete set of tags received from server" when trying to join my server?
This usually happens when the client and server are not on the same version. Make sure to update your client and server to the same version! Also, you can try reinstalling the modpack. You may also need to ensure that the mods themselves have all been downloaded properly. Curseforge App and even GDLauncher have been known to install the modpack incorrectly, often not updating mods or outright not installing them. You may need to reinstall the modpack, or try another launcher.
My spell points and/or talent points are all messed up. How do I fix this?
First, try using spell and talent reset potions. If you notice you're getting more points than expected, it is a problem with the update. Copy the files from config/copy/serverconfig into your world save's serverconfig folder to manually update these files.
Why can't I break spawners? Or, why does it take so long to break spawners?
Spawners were made unbreakable in 2.8.6, but the change was reverted in 2.8.7. They are no long unbreakable, but have increased toughness. This has a few purposes: to encourage leaving spawners for other players (you can disable them with torches), and to make dungeoneering harder. I had to make them harder to break rather than unbreakable because some events require you to break spawners (such as the MineColonies pirate invasion).
I can't seem to allocate and spell/talent points. Why?
First, make sure you've used a reset potion for the respective tree. Then, if you still can't, that means the version of Mine and Slash on the server and the client are not the same.
Why can't I read the tasks in my quest log?
Known issue with FTB Quests at the moment. Just pin your quests to see the task.
Why does my game lag every few seconds?
Allocate more RAM to the modpack. I suggest at least 4 GB. Also it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that you take a look at the recommended launcher arguments.
Why is my ping really high all of the sudden/why do I lag when getting hit?
It's possible that your character has too much "NBT" data and is causing them to lag (especially noticeable if you get hit). You may need to reduce the number of backpacks you have, including those in your Ender Chest. Also, you can reset your character by putting your items in a chest, logging off, deleting your character data in the world save, and setting your level back to what you were at before with '/slash set level'.
Is it possible to reset my stats/spells/talents?
Yes, you can reset via reset potions. The potions are craftable and are also obtained via the quest book.

Common Ore doesn't seem to repair my gear, why?
Common Ore is awful at repairing - it's super inefficient. You can actually use vanilla ingots, or higher tier ores.
How do I party in Craft to Exile [Dissonance]?
'/slash party create', '/slash party invite <player>', then have other players use '/slash party join <player>'
Is there a way to give experience or levels?
To give experience, use '/slash give exp '. To set a player's level, use '/slash set level '.
My quest log isn't completing when my teammate finishes the quest, how do I enable this?
Unfortunately, this functionality is not yet supported in FTB Quest 1.15.2.
What is the drop rate of Wither Skeleton Skulls?
2.5%, but I've included Wither Skeleton Tweaks which makes wither skeletons have a 100% chance of dropping Skull Fragments. Craft 9 fragments into a skull!
I can't access my Storage Drawer interface but I could before?
Make sure that you have nothing in your offhand.
Why does starting up the modpack immediately crash? Or, I can't seem to start the modpack after downloading it.
If you're using the Twitch launcher, chances are you need to reinstall Forge. Download the 'installer' for Forge. Make sure that it's the correct version (31.2.47) and to install the client to the correct location (default: C:\Users\your name\Twitch\Minecraft\Install). If double clicking the .jar isn't doing anything, then you likely don't have Java or you've incorrectly set the PATH. Please install Java 8. If all else fails, try reinstalling the pack, or using GDLauncher.
