Who is the target audience?

Kids from communities facing adversity, including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty and coping with parental incarceration

What do they do?

Matches kids with mentors that work with them a few times a month over the course of years.

How do people get involved?

The mentors are volunteers from local universities or communities. The kids are enrolled by their parents.

What are the impacts?

Involvement in bbbs increases involvement in school, reduces behavior issues, and improves relationships. (study verified)
