If you issue an @find or @locator trigger, the responses are mostly sent as private text messages although also sometimes private notice messages. As explained in Functionality: Private Messages without dlFilter these would appear in either the Single Message window or in several query windows (one per server responding), and with this functionality they would appear in the channel window.

dlFilter extends this functionality further by tracking when you issue an @find or @locator command and then recognising and diverting the responses to a custom @find window instead.

You can then double-click or right-click on one or more responses in order to issue the get trigger without needing to copy and paste or retype the command in a common channel.
