Design Idea 2

Objective Score Given Justification
Remote Operation + It is easier to use a smartphone than design a band for the specific controlling of the machine.
Picking and Placing - Machine uses vacuum to pickup and hold objects which is not as efficient as the simple gripper mechanism design 1 makes use of
Stability - The added weight due to vacuum and vacuum box makes the system less stable
Responsive 0 -------------------------------------------------------------
Size -- The structure being movable and having a vacuum box attached makes it a lot less compact than design 1.

Design Idea 3

Objective Score Given Justification
Remote Operation + It is easier to use a smartphone than design a band for the specific controlling of the machine
Picking and Placing + It is easier to control a stationary structure to pick and place the objects as compared to a moving gesture based robot
Stability + The wide base and strong joints makes the system more stable
Responsive 0 -------------------------------------------------------------
Size 0 The structure has appropriate horizontal and vertical dimensions to perform the functions we need

Design Idea 4

Objective Score Given Justification
Remote Operation 0
Picking and Placing - Using a hook to pick the objects up is not as easy and efficient as using a gripper
Stability - The length of the linkage mechanism, despite being reinforced with hydraulic mechanism makes it less stable
Responsive - The wi-fi module installed for the glove doesn't offer as much security as the bluetooth module installed for design 1
Size + The lack of sound box/speaker in the system makes it more compact
