While working in engineering exploration projects we learnt many topics such as what are the disciplines of engineering, what is the role of an engineer in his workplace, how to design a prototype using design architecture, mechanisms, data analyzing and many more. Problem Identified- Initially we were provided with project need statement. We applied it in an field application of agriculture to design an seed sowing gesture controlled robot as it can overcome the constraints of customers basically .And it also has its leading face in its industry now a days. Description-we associated the knowledge of subsystems and we came to know about how is to be the model prepared using its objectives, constraints and functions, then using this data we generated an concept. Our team members have particular skills like connection part, coding part, mechanical works, hence forth we were eligible to work with the project easily. Then we came up with different engineering design alternatives by each members of the team and one among it is selected.
We then learnt to build simple mechatronic systems using sensors, actuators, arduino and relays and then interfacing sensors with arduino and actuators We learnt mechanisms such as linkages, battery sizing, motor sizing etc. Then working the project prototype in CAD designs we implemented our virtual implementation .Hence it became easy to assemble the subsystems in the physical process. Then physically implemented our project by applying all the learnings that we have got from the guidance of our mentors. Future scope of project work-The project seed sowing robot is able to move through gestures and this can be more useful in the field of agriculture mechanizations and also has its advances in economy, profits and will be having good scope of the product. Analyzing through ethical perspectives and sustainability our course project has future scope in many aspects such as demands, constraints, applications in it, and is mainly because of gesture controlled applications in it. Also we had to ensure that the project would help the society to its best .Henceforth came up with project technically and mechanically well.
