the patch (since recording, has changed a bit, but most of the functionality is the same): https://imgur.com/J8v5FdY
idea 1: Attach weather sensors around a jungle, use it to make jungle music by sending the data through to trigger different channels. Different weather patterns–rain, wind, lightning–could trigger different breaks, chords, samples. Volume of the jungle at a given time could link to tempo of music.
idea 2: A giant theremin, which would work like a normal theremin, but it is the size of a building. Performer must run to different locations and levels of a building to control all parameters of the theremin. Or maybe instead of the person themself controlling it, there could be a ball that sends some sort of signal to the theremin and performers can hit it around with tennis rackets.
idea 3: Piano controlled by tiny sensors in an ant farm. Fill an ant farm with tiny sensors–ant farms have many tunnels and alleyways. The passing by of an ant at a sensor will trigger a note. Left to right or up to down will be pitch, many ants running around at different parts could create chords. Put the speaker above the ant hill / farm. Let the people hear them play.
