Laser distance meter with up to 30 meters range.

Protocol

Distance is transmitted over Bluetooth LE. The message 10010002LLHHXX contains header, little endian hex value (in mm) as ASCII and probably checksum. The device doesn't seem to support characteristic indication or notification, so active pulling is implemented. As a result I will recomend extra batteries to be carried.

Usage

• Note that pairing fails on some devices like Samsung; succeeded to pair Lenovo on the second attempt
• The device uses meters by default
• Configure distance over Bluetooth
• New distance readings will appear in the active distance aware cells
