Fargone are creatures, once human, who have become so lost, so inhuman, they have become monsters, forever plaguing The Crossroads, feeding upon the souls of The Departed. They take many shapes and forms, and will do whatever they can to prevent the Departed from ever reaching The Great Beyond. They themselves are too far gone to ever cross over to The Great Beyond. They are a type of Lost Soul, and may once have been Reapers or Psychopomps, or even Departed, but are now beyond redemption, doomed to remain in The Crossroads for all eternity. Even feeding on the souls of the Departed will not save them, but they are blind to their reality and hungry for souls.
