How to delete user preferences when a new version of MAUD is installed - luttero/maud GitHub Wiki

New versions of MAUD may come with new sets of preferences. To ensure that the new preferences are used and not those of a previous version, it is advisable to delete the old ones. On Linux, delete

~/Documents/maud ~/._maud ~/java/.userPrefs

When starting Maud, a message "INFO: Created user preferences directory." should appear when starting from the terminal window. Another indication is that window size and previous folder locations were reset if the deletion was successful.
