Hold CTRL, select places where you want to enter text, release CTRL and start typing

or
Hold SHIFT + ALT + arrows, this simply place your cursor up or down lines and start typing

How to extract nickname from email - nick is based on first letters of lastname and firstname

Example: [email protected] >> peacluk

Lets open Notepad++ and place some list of emails. Lets find and replace them via this regex

[email protected]

FIND: 
^([a-z][0,3]).*?\.([a-z][0,4]).*?\r\n

REPLACE:
$2$1\r\n

RESULT:
peaceluk  ..here the second regex says..take everything up to 4 letters

OR

[email protected]

FIND: 
^([a-z][0,3]).*?\.([a-z][3,4]).*?\r\n

REPLACE:
$2$1\r\n

RESULT:
nothing because the second regular expr says..take only two options..lastname with 3 or 4 digits
