Summary: Mars map has a grey line across the surface

Created: 2014–06–09 16:51

Status: Released

Category: Bug

From: Ddexter

Version: 2.3

Description:

On Mars there is a long vertical grey line on the surface imagery that might be right along the prime meridian. This is likely the edge of the image map where the data came from.

frankie June 09, 2014, at 04:55 PM: As a workaround, if the position over Mars doesn't matter, you might try staying on the other side of the planet as this line should only be at the prime meridian.

frankie October 03, 2014, at 05:32 PM: Ok this is fixed. The fix requires new Mars map files for your gisdata directory. These are located in the Download section under EDGE v2.3 as "EDGE Mars Data Pack v2.3". Just replace your existing Mars map with these and the grey line should go away.
