Summary: EDGE seg faults with NVIDIA driver < 180.29

Created: 2010–05–19 14:31

Status: Released

Category: Bug

From: jbullock

Version: 2.1

Released_In: 2.2

Description:

When running with older drivers (probably < 180 series), the planet2 plugin can seg fault.

Comments

frankie May 19, 2010, at 02:34 PM: This is due to the missing glMapBufferRange extension in the driver. The first workaround is to upgrade to a newer driver. If this is not an option to you, you can also use "-nomapbuffer" in the command_line block of the DSP_PLANET2 block of your config file.
