Running the Benchmarks

A typical first step to confirm a good installation of EDGE is to run the benchmarks and see how it performs on your hardware/OS.

Simple directions

1. After making sure there are no other major applications running, run the "./run_benchmarks" script.
2. After the tests complete, email in the results using the directions printed at the end of the benchmarks execution.
3. You can compare your results with the results of others via the Graphics.VideoCards page.

NOTE: ONLY compare with the same version of EDGE, as results from other versions are meaningless for comparison!
