Newbie Blender Wavefront to AC 3 D

Goal

Use Blender to convert a wavefront file to AC3D.

The Wavefront File

See NewbieCube Name the file "cube.obj"

Tell Blender How To Import/Export

If you haven't already, see Blender for setting up import/export

Exporting via GUI (For Blender v2.63+)

You must enable an addon script that allows for AC3D export.

1. Go to File → User Preferences (Ctrl+Alt+U)
2. Select to the Addons Tab (near top of window)
3. Select Import-Export from Categories (along left of window)
4. Search for AC3D
5. In the addon's box, check the box in the top-right to activate

Convert

1. Import “cube.obj”
2. Click 3D-View To See Imported “cube.obj”
3. Export “cube.ac” Another View
